Herf-Scout is a directory platform that connects cigar enthusiasts with cigar lounges worldwide. Our Service allows users to discover lounges, read and write reviews, share photos, and for lounge owners to manage their business listings.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
4. User Content
Users may submit reviews, photos, and other content. You retain ownership of your content but grant Herf-Scout a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service. You agree not to submit content that is false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, or violates any third-party rights.
5. Lounge Ownership Claims
Lounge owners may claim their listings by providing verification of their relationship to the business. Herf-Scout reserves the right to verify claims and may reject or revoke ownership at our discretion. Owners are responsible for the accuracy of their listing information.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; submit false or misleading information; harass, abuse, or threaten others; attempt to interfere with the Service's functionality; create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions; or use automated means to access the Service without permission.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Herf-Scout and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Herf-Scout does not guarantee the accuracy of lounge information, reviews, or other content. We are not responsible for your interactions with lounges listed on our platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Herf-Scout shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
